Last month I wrote about Life: where many paths cross, and truly, as I reflect on this years’ Birthday celebration, considering that by 8:30am I had received 6 calls and over 20 messages through my Facebook  page…which later by the end of the day had gone up to about 70 (believe me I’m not bragging…just amazed), I realize how mysterious those paths can be and how much they can interwine each other. I am certain that my birthday is not a national holiday which people have to observe, but when you consider the fact that people take time out of their busy schedule to send you a quick note or pick up the phone and talk to you for 5 to 30 min, then you realize that while it may not be a national holiday, “your special day” has been plugged into someones’ calendar as a day to remember. It doesn’t take a genious to understand that a special reason has to exist for something like that to happen. Those of you who know me, know that I don’t take things for granted, therefore, I am truly wow’d with all the lovely gestures towards me. To me, its those small things that make my world ROCK! My God, how lucky am I to have nurtured relationships throughout my journey and see that many have harvested into beautiful friendships. Undoubtedly, there are others I wish they did…but they have taken other paths…and I believe there is a reason for that.
